Wading Floyd’s Fork (Help)

My 11 year old son got some waders this past week (I have some as well). He wants to wade at Floyd’s Fork but not sure where to do this at.
We went to the Beckley Park (off Shelbyville Rd) to just look around and the entry point looked deep (@ Egg Park area). I don’t think he would be able to wade there. Looked more like a river than a creek.

Any spots where we can go in at and move around some without getting too deep? Thanks!
