    Helms Landing Cumberland River help

Been a long time since I have been down there. I have 15ft Gheenoe with 3.5hp. What are safe generation levels to be on the river for that boat. Also what’s the website that breaks the generation schedule down by the hour? Thanks

    Cumberland River advise

You may have already gone down, and if so, how did it go? If not, I’d put in at Burkesville. It takes all day for the current to affect water levels 35 miles south of the dam. Less worrisome. I’ve fished every inch of that river and Burkesville area is good fishing without the worry of big water. I’ve scared myself in a bass tracker up near the dam. It not that it’s unsafe, just I’d rather have less to worry about in your size boat if I were you. Good luck.
