Anyone had any luck with Saugeye at Taylorsville?

Trying to find out where to try.

I've only caught 2 .... one little one out on the main lake (left bank as you're going towards the dam) and one keeper (that I didn't keep) back in the back end of Little Beech. Had a guy tell me he caught several on the old roadbed back in the pocket to the right of Settlers Trace Launch Ramp ... but I didn't see them. Caught both of mine on jig/plastic, casting for Crappie.

I would think if one were targeting them ... the river end of the lake would be the place to try, but I really don't know that much about them. Luck2ya !!

I’ve caught some mainly on crankbaits. I’ve also caught some on little swimbaits and always real close to the bottom. I catch them when I’m bass fishing just randomly. I don’t know how to go target them specifically. I wish I did cause they’re great eating.

X2...I catch them on main lake points very close to the bottom. Also caught some up in Salt River during the white bass run this spring. Also very close to the bottom using crappie jigs retrieved slow. Most of the ones I'm catching are keepers, all but 3 have been tossed back in.
