Remember when the USA and other countries banned travel from China when the Covid 19 disease first hit. Remember that people in China would fly to another country like Britian and then fly to the USA and bring Covid 19 with them? I sure do.

Now we have a new Omicron variant of Covid19 found in Southern Africa and we are banning flights from those countries to the USA. But still nothing is stopping people in South Africa from flying to another country and then flying from there to the USA. We have not learned any lessons.

There are to many variants to show in one simple time graph. The original SARS CoV-2 arrived in Dec 2019. Delta arose in India in 2021. Delta variant was ten to 20 times more infectious. Thus there were be many more cases with the Delta Variant.

Now if we had been able to control the original variant of SARS CoV-2 we would never have the delta or the Omicron variants that we have now.

My problem with Trump was that he lied about this and failed to really act. He did everything in his power to try to wish this virus away. He called it a hoax and said it would go away on its own the spring of 2019. Well, we know that was total hogwash. He even lied and said he didn't have the virus when he attended the debate with Biden. He tried to kill Biden by giving him the virus. Trump had tested positive for the virus three days before the debate. Trump refused to get the test when he arrived for the debate. It's just too bad that the virus didn't kill Trump. That may sound bad but if you look at all the Crap that trump has pulled since he was elected, we all would be better off without him. If not for all our tax dollars and the best medical care that anyone in the world could get Trump would not be with us today.

Do you remember the cruise ship that was full of people that were infected with the novel coronavirus? The one that was off the coast of California and was told to stay offshore and not land on our shores. It eventually landed and the press told us that all the people on board were quarantined for 10 days or so. Well, they were not under strict quarantine. They all should have been put in an interment type camp and guarded 24/7 by military MPs with hazmat suits. But that didn't happen. The virus went out of control in the Seattle area IIRC. Then Trump banned travel from China but no other countries. We should have banned all travel to the USA to stop the virus from coming here. Instead, people flew from China to other countries and then flew into the USA from those other countries. Duh. How stupid was that. But Trump said it was a hoax and it would go away on its own. BS. The virus spread. People were flying into major hubs like NY on the East Coast and the virus took off and then spread across the country.

And now we have people allied with the GOP telling people that it's their right to not wear masks or get vaccinated. They are willing to sacrifice American lives to help this virus spread to make Biden look bad. The democrats didn't tell people to not wear mask when Trump was in charge. In fact, they encouraged people to wear a mask and get vaccinated and continue to do so.

Not sure why people are gullible enough to believe covid can be eliminated. Lockdown, no lockdown, mask, no mask, vaccines, no vaccines, the disease is here to run its course. If modern medicine could beat this type of virus, colds and flu wouldn't exist. At this point covid is about politics and power.

Also pretty foolish IMO to believe locking down America would have stopped it from getting here. Cruise ship passengers under armed guard in internment camps? Really? The southern border is basically open, but I'm sure they're giving them free masks, so nothing to worry about there.

Soon enough the third vaccine booster will be mandated by the doddering fool and Dimocrat party puppet that is our President. I say puppet because the man never had an original thought in his life. What's to stop the government from mandating all other vaccines out there? Or for that matter doing any **** thing they want?

Pro government sentiment and government dependence have turned the masses into sheep, spoon fed and manipulated by the media. People, particularly those on the left are clamoring to give up our ever dwindling freedom for false promises of safety by career politicians.

Thinking that they can do anything they want to discourage people to take the best precautions against this pandemic virus is asinine and anti-American. They might as well be against the Government having a US Military to protect us from our enemies. And the same people that claim that China developed this virus are fighting everything that our government is doing to help our people not get sick from this virus and die. What is up with that. Oh please. We learned it slowed it down and we learned it’s better to do something than nothing. You don’t throw out a rule just because 1/2% fond a way around it. If your bass boat sank once, does that mean you never buy another bass boat?
