    fish prices

after 30 years of tournament bass fishing, i haven't been fishing in 6 years.
just went to grocery store to buy fish for tacos.
WOW, cheapest fish they had was $10 a pound.
i may have to take up fishing again.
they say spots are good to eat and i hear there's plenty in a local lake.

I harvest white bass in spring and fall usually about 10-20lbs each time.

That gives me plenty of grilled fish for fish tacos, and fried fish when we want it. about 40-50 meals.

AND they are easy to catch

I can give you 4-5 places on KY lake or Barkley where you can catch hundreds a day.

    Later,

    Geo

Hey, you could save gas money and team with dragmerc. Drag sends you $10, and you compare that to the total gas used in your trip, then share that percent of the fish catch with him.

In my case, have not fished in 3 years, cause I sold my boat. Now I just borrow a shopping cart and troll my credit card behind a planer board at the meat aisle at Sams club. I don’t catch much fish, but I’ve landed 3 blondes, a redhead, and one brunette I had to throw back because she was spawning. 🦆🦆🦆

    Freezer

Me and a bud have stocked his freezer so full of Crappie filets he can hardly fit anything else in there. We found a row of boat houses in Roseberry Creek on Guntersville that is stupid. Already had one big fish fry, looking forward to more.

White bass are too fishy to me, rather have Crappie or Catfish. Don't eat black bass, feels like cannibalism. Whites are in the TN River by the million, and Geo is right, they are easy to catch...especially if you're not trying to.

I cut off any red or grey meat off the filets, and man oh man they really eat good.
