Glad I went to Melton Hill instead. I found some LM in the backs of coves in 3 feet of water. Got them throwing a chartreuse spinnerbait with small tandem willow blades. Nothing on topwater.

Well fishing was bad at Norris this weekend. I through everything every color, and only came away with 6 good fish 13-14 inches. I dont believe I will return until march.
Good Luck and Good Fishin

Late yesterday the 1st my son wanted to get out on the lake when he got home about 4:00. It was very cloudy and trying to rain. We fished from 4:30 until 6:00 when it was getting dark. Caught 6 SM with 5 measureing as keepers. One was 5lb 3 oz. All were caught on a flat side square billed Bandit. The color was white with a yellow belly and a black splatter back. The fish were close to the bank on 45 degree limestone banks in Mill Creek. I think the dark clouds and 15 to 20 MPH wind brought the big SM up.Started out with a spook and a spinnerbait, had a blade hit on the spinnerbait and a couple of small fish blew up on the Spook. After the first SM hit the crank we never threw anything else.We were cranking very fast with a 6.1 reel and 8 lb line.Great 1 1/2 hour fishing trip.
