Wartauga Lake
Does anyone here know anything about Watauga Lake? I just moved over here (Boone, NC) and it is the closest lake.

RE: Wartauga Lake
I'm about five minutes from Watauga. What do you want to know? As far as species, it has a lot to choose from, LM,SM, and spotted bass, rainbow, ohrid, and lake trout, walleye, as well as various species of panfish and roughfish. About the only species not in Watauga that is represented in other lakes in the region is hybrid and striped bass.
