Does anyone know if you can fish below the plant in a boat, if so where can you put in?

yes, i fished it for the first time monday, you can take a boat all the way up to the dam, the only thing is that you must wear a life jacket up above the ramp. There is a public ramp at the steam plant, just follow the signs.

It was my first time out there, we caught 2 smallies during heavy rain and saw a couple of fisherman on the bank catching a couple on minnows. From what i see it gets fished pretty hard.

I have heard the striper and sauger run up to the dam in late january. Its just one of those places you have to time just right.
