I was wondering can you catch hybrids at night like you do rock fish? I live close to Lake Cumberland and that is how we catch stripers this time of year. Also can you tie up and put out lights and catch them. Just wondering I might bring down the wife and would like to see her catch some fish thanks.

I have never used lights to catch them on Cherokee, but I do catch great numbers on Red fins and similar baits this time of year.
We catch hybrids on Lake Monroe in Indiana, and for all the years I have been chasing those critters, only once did I ever catch one after sunset. I do not think they are active at night.
The Hybrids on Cherokee ..I know hit at Sunset and at day Break .Since I don't fish at night I can only go by some of my fiends who catch them with livebait(small) at night while fishing for White Bass around the bridges I also know of a 44lb. Striper that was caught at night while fishing for Hybrids and white Bass... ..YANK
It'll be interesting to watch this thread develop. I have taken quite a few stripers at night, usually in the 8-11 p.m. timeframe. And I have taken white bass at night, but especially right at and just after sunset. But I rarely catch wipers at night, maybe because I don't use live bait. I look forward to the responses on this.
