Planning a trip on Norris lake this weekend. I hear the water has jumped up fast the past couple of weeks? Has this hurt the bass fishing any??? Has anybody been catching any bass ( small & large mounth )??? Just thought I would get some info before going. Thanks and good fishing..

Go at night. Wait until midnight and start going from point to point listening for the shad (or alewives) flipping. Fish large topwater and suspending jerkbaits. You will catch LM (maybe some smallmouth coming off the nest) and walleye. Use at least 14 pound test. You will probably catch a striper or two. Good luck. Let me know how you do.
