Be ready to fish DEEEEEEP!
They will be at their deepest all year and are a little hard to catch but, once you find them, that's half the battle.
Shiners rule at that time :)

I am planning a trip to Dale Hollow the first weekend in November. Any advice about what I need to plan for this time of the year. I am after smallmouth bass.
Thanks

Thanks Tee,
Does the night bite continue from summer thru fall? We have caught a few @ 25ft level. Do the smallmouth concentrate in smaller schools or can you still find them on mainlake points? I know I'm full of questions and hope that I'm not annoying you. By the way I love to fish shiners.
Thanks again
I know some that do nite fish at that time but, I do better by locating them in the day and being persistent because they'll move following baitfish at that time...your LCR will be your friend then and don't even drop a line unless your markin' baitfish and fish with them or you'll be wasting alot of time.
Good Luck and maybe I'll see ya' on the lake...my boat and trailer bear my name :)
