There was a nightime boating accident on Cherokee Lake, Friday night(8-11-06)in a collision between a "bass boat" and a 23-ft. cabin cruiser. The accident happened near Fall Creek Marina; a 21-year old man lost his life while 4 other people were injured; the father of the 21-year old is in critical condition. The body of the victim was recovered Saturday afternoon.
