I am curious if anyone with a larger bass boat that has a large motor and can't fish some of the Indiana lakes due to the motor size limites uses a small kicker motor.

I'll bet that there are a lot of small boats with smaller than 10 HP motors that can fish IN lakes such as Hovey and turtle Creek. But how many people who have expensive bass boats with bigger motors are restricted from fishing Hovey and Turtle Creek.

I was told by one of the DNR fishery biologists that the DNR may be thinking about allowing big motors at idle speed on the new Blue Grass Fish and Wildlife Areas three main pits.

I hope that this rumor is true and that people don't abuse the no-wake speed if this is permitted at BG. If so maybe the DNR would allow the same thing at Hoveys.
