The Indiana DNR is studying hybrid striped bass in Lake Monroe. A small number of fish have been surgically implanted with radio tags and will have an antennae extending from their stomach. Please assist the IDNR by releasing any of these fish. If you catch a hybrid striped bass with an antennae please release the fish and report the catch to IDNR at (812) 279-1215. If you decide to harvest the fish, please contact us so we can make arrangements to get the transmitter back. Thank you for your cooperation. Any question can be directed to Kevin Hoffman (South Region Assistant Research Biologist) 812-279-1215.

Why do you need transmitters, from what I hear you are the local hybid catching expert and already know where these bad boys live.
