Just wondered what everyone thought of the two new adds in the back of the October issue of Bassmaster mag? I am not offended by ads like these but they really seem out of place in a magazine that so many young people read.

does not bother me either but definetly seems out of place
sorta bothered me. B.A.S.S. is always supporting getting kids envolved in fishing and staying away from other vices and then bend to the almighty dollar to advertise sex aids as well as cigarettes and alcohol. I'm sure this is the adds you where talking about. Don't know where this is all going. I like a cold beer every now and then and lord knows my head is turned by a bikini but at least give a kid a chance to discover all that at a later date.
I didn't like seeing the ads in there either,i know a lot of young kids read this magazine and thats not something they need to see at an early age.I agree that the almighty dollar seems to be playing a big role in how things are done at b.a.s.s. now that espn has taken over.It used to seem like a more family- oriented business before the big money got involved. It appears that now they'll advertise for any business willing to pay them the money and i for one don't like it.
What is the ad for?
get em out of there, those type ads are for fitness magazines, etc. Little kids are reading the magazine, definitely pull them out of Bassmaster.
well finally get a chance to looks at my copy, didn't really bother me as you see those ads in just about every mag. I thought the Hooahh bar on the back cover is pretty cheesy though.
