RE: march 18 @lake guntersville at goose

I would fish from Waterfront (about 2-3 miles south of Goose Pond Colony) to as far north as you want to travel. The upper part of the lake warms up first. Throw 'traps, spinnerbaits, suspending crankbaits/jerkbaits, and jig 'n pig. Watch your temp guage as the fish will find the warm water. Of course look for new hydrilla growth in 5-9 feet of water. They may be in shallower water ... depending on the weather. Buy a good map (I like Atlantic brand). It will show you the shallow spots where the weeds will grow ... shaded in BLUE. Bring some heavy line, because that is a good time of year for the big 'uns!!!! Good Luck!
