    Guntersville Lake (Goose Pond Area)

Coming down next week to fish Thurs to Sunday. Been on the lake a few times but it has been 6 years since last trip. Any specific bays or areas "easy" to find on the map that we should concentrate on?

RE: Guntersville Lake (Goose Pond Area)

I would fish any sloughs or creeks north of the Goose Pond area to find the warmest water you can. We're expecting some cooler weather which may prevent the fish from coming into really shallow water. If you aren't fishing new growth milfoil or hydrilla in 3-7 feet of water, you'll be in the wrong place. Keep moving until you find some fish ... then work the area methodically.
