Looks like a lot of tight lips about Guntersville info. Alabama board needs to be more like Kentucky board. I also am going down in late Oct. and would like some help. It will be my first trip down. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think it is tight lips. There are just so few folks on the Alabama board from what I can tell. I just moved from Ky and it is driving me nuts trying to find a place like fishin.com's Ky board to discuss fishing in Alabama. Good luck on Guntersville and if I get a chance to go I'll be sure to post a report.

I just got back from Guntersville a week ago. Fishing was tough. We drove down there from Louisville area looking for a grass bite but there was none for us. We ended up flipping boat houses and managed 18 lbs of fish one day. Hope the bite is a little better for you guys. That was my first trip to the Big G.

I use Wave Worms orange & black swirled from www.wavefishing.com and chartreuse spinners in darker water and transluscent or more realistic spinners from www.rollingthunderlures.com Zarra spooks are worth a try as well
