I've used Kalin's grubs with great success on my CRing. I like the Green Pumpkin, or the Smoke color, and I always dye the tail Chartruese.
Good luck,
Tight lines and God Bless

Back years ago when I was in Kowaliga Bass Club we fished a 3" - 4" grub a lot on a Carolina rig. This was a very effective bait for us on Lake Martin, West Point and Lake Harris. We bought the grubs by the 1000's from somewhere in Mississippi. But since I moved from Auburn back to north Alabama and have lost touch with the bass club there.
Can anyone tell me where to purchase these grubs now? They were very salty and had a great tail action in the water. I've tried several different brands since then but not as good as the orginals. I think I heard that a company in Texas bought them out. Any ideals guys?

Not to toot my own horn, but I designed that grub and made two molds for Al Kalin. It's a 5 inch with a very thin tail that will swim if you move it at all. It also has a very slow fall. You can get them from Bass Pro Shops, they are called Kalin's Salty Grubs. Hope they work for you.

Thanks Steve and Danny, I'll give them a try. The orginal one we used looked a lot like the old Riverside Pro grub. Man I've caught a lot of fish on the grub Carolina rig over the years.
