Hey guys, I'm looking at a 16' boat that is rated for a 40 horse engine, this one has a 60 horse on it. I was wondering what dangers/problems could be associated with it having a larger engine than what it's rated for. Thanks, Ted

The other issue is the amount of weight.
if someone got hurt in a boating accident involving your boat charges might be filed against you for having an overpowered boat
