try using chicken liver on live bait rigs, seriously.
Try around beach area and bantam and campground ramps.

Hi all,
I'm planning on fishing East Fork this coming Friday for hybrid stripers and was hoping I could get some helpful info. I plan to drift / troll live bait and would like to know the best areas of the lake to fish this way. Any info, like location, depth to fish and any other helpful info would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks Bassky, I'll give it a try next time out.
It's been a week since I was there last, but the hybrids have been very scattered. With the rain we had and the fact that there has been a hatch of tiny shad, I hope that the hybrids start schooling up better. Dont waste your time fishing over 70 to 100 ft of water, but look for deep water close to shallow water. The thermocline is starting to form good and should show up good on your fish finder. Look for humps and shallower water that will intersect the thermocline. There wont be many fish at all below this thermocline. Shad will always work, but we've been getting them on Flitterbaits on scattered suspended fish.
Thanks Mean Morone. I appreciate your input.
