    BIG STRINGER

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO HAVE A BIG STRINGER. NOT A WINNING STRINGER BUT ONE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT FOR A FEW WEEKS OR MONTHS. I PERSONALLY WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE 14LBS 4 BASS STRINGER WEIGHED AT OUR FIRST TOURNY OF YEAR. TOURNY WEIGHED IN STRINGERS IS ALL I AM ASKING ABOUT. I KNOW IN OHIO A 10LB STRINGER IS GOOD SIZE. JUST WONDERING. THANKS FOR IMPUT.

    RE: BIG STRINGER

i think a real good stringer would be anything over 16-17lbs or bigger. that would consist of a nice bunch of 2.5-3lb bass with a kicker of 5-6lbs.
any limit is nice but anything over 12-13lbs is respectable in 5fish.
