wild boars in kentucky

Anyone have any information on hunting wild boars in kentucky? I just found out that the season os open year round but I've never heard of anyone hunting them here. Would like to give it a try sometime in the near future. any advice wouldbe helpful.

Check with the kdfw about the season ,I think permits are on sale now.Mccreary county probably will be the only county with a huntable population of hogs,and you will find them on the Big South Fork National Park.None in the other parts of the county
that I am aware of.Look for the Peter and Parkers mountian area.
