Ok, it appears that Fish and Wildlife got it right. And Some of you may need to apologize...An autopsy of the bear found it had been shot 2 times. The kill shot was to the head. So obviously that means that the first shot was someplace else.
The autopsy showed that the bear was moving AWAY from the trailer when it was shot.. IF the guy who shot it told the truth. The First shot went from behind the bear to the front. The second shot hit the bear in the head when it turned to attack AFTER being shot. Apparently this is why Fish and Wildlife charged him with poaching the bear. IF it was moving away it was no threat to his family or livestock.

CSI:
Diagram of the building and shooters location when he says he shot-- where the bear fell -- the fact there were 2 shots NOT 1 as initially reported -- The trajectory of the bullet on first shot -- You get a guilty perp.
