Way to go! What county was it killed in? I got a nice fat doe this morning and went and bought a bonus tag so I can take two more. Everyone really needs to take their does. Deer are thick as flies where I live (Green County).

I was just dropping to tell every one that my dad shot a very nice buck this morning that might score in the 150s or 160s and was wondering what it would take to be entered in the Kentuckys record books. I know what the Boon and Crocketts is but didnt know if Kentuckys was any different. It weighs around 220 or so, a pretty big deer and there was a 8 point that was with him and wasnt that much littler and a little 5 point, so obviously the rut hasnt kicked in yet. I seen a spike and 2 does, I shot at a doe but it was very dark, didnt think I even touched her, she ran off just fine. But info on what it takes to enter the Kentucky record books is very much needed.

He got it in Hardin County, I also got a doe sunday night a at the same place and seen another. About a 100 yard shot she trotted about 20 yards, stumbled, and fell.
