I'm lookinf for some where to hunt on the last weekend of gun season. I would eally like to hunt somewhere that has alot of does. I already have filled my buck tag but I would rather have a doe for the meat. I dont know anyone who owns any land that i can hunt on so I have to hunt public land, Anyone know of some good public land that they have seen some does please let me know. Thanks for the help.

Look in the hunting guide. It lists all of the WMA that are open to public hunting. I know that Barren River and Nolin are both open during gun season. Barren has several does. There is some land up the river that you can drive down to and access without a boat. Good luck.
