hey just a quick question, just wondering if anyone might know. I live in kentucky most of the time, but we own land in TN also we live on the border but we maintian two homes, many times we spend just as much time in one state as the other, for fishing it is not a problem our land is on wolf creek of dale hollow so my KY fishing license covers that branch anyway. I am wanting to go turkey hunting on our place down there, as land owners this is not a problem for me but I am also going to hunt the property next to mine, do I have to buy an out of state resident license or could I justify the fact that I am a TN tax payer and a 50 50 resident. I know I will ask a ranger on the lake this week end but I was just wondering.

Your State of residence is the state you have your drivers license in.. and pay your taxes... assuming you do both in the same state.. but basically you are considered a resident of the state your Drivers License is in.
