Remington Model 710??

Has anyone ever purchased or shot a remington model 710 rifle? Its the one you see at wal-mart that has the gray composite stock. I was wondering how good of a gun it is cause they are pretty cheap and come with a scope too. I thought about maybe buying one before I break down and spend high dollars on something else.

They are a decent gun, if you plan on keeping it and never trying to sell it. It's a Remington, so it's a pretty good shooter but I think that I would put the extra money into a little better gun like the Remington 700 or the Ruger 77. You could probably check around a find a used 700 or 77 for the same money that you will spend on the new 710.

Know where a Ruger 77 in a 7mm Rem Mag was for 449.00 with a scope. Looked like new it was at Evans firearms Lexington 859-277-7770
