I have a TC Scout and was going to use Triple 7 pellets this weekend, and I have not before. Last year I bought some pyrodex pellets that said not to use it in this specific muzzleloader. Would this be the same for the Triple 7? I know it is faster burning, smokeless, than regular powder. Is this the reason why? In case the muzzle can not withstand the added pressure and velocity? Should I let my mother-n-law test it out first? haha Anyway just wondering if anyone knew. Thanks.

Eric, As Long as the Pellets are not Smokeless you Should be O.K. I Only Know of One In-Line Muzzle That was Safe to Use Smokeless Powder With and I Dont Think it is Made Anymore. Also I am not an Expert Either. I have a TC Omega and I Have Used Pyrodex Pellets Once Before and it was Fine.I ussualy Use the Regular Triple Seven Pellets That are NOT SMOKELESS. You May Want to Call a Loal Gunshop or Dealer and Ask. You May Even be Able to get Some Info on Their Web Page. You Definently do not Want the Gun Exploding in Your Face.
Good Luck, Basslur
