I'm usually a hard core bass fisherman, but i promised my dad a good night time live bait trip. We don't get to go together to much so i was hoping to give him a good trip. i was just wondering if anyone had any pointers on walleye or catfish for laurel lake? What areas of the lake are good now and what type of bank should i tie up on? Thanks for any help.

If your looking for catfish you might want to try Woodscreek, not far from Laurel and reports are that they are red hot on cut bait and livers. Friends say they are catching anywhere from 10 to 20 a night. I would suggest any shallow cove would be good. If your deadset on Laurel a few walleye are still being caught occasionally on points that join timber coves and try jigging spoons.Lots of fun if they are biting. Good luck to you and yours.
