Guys and GALS........
Man.....This weekend was BRUTAL at Dale....
The weather Saturday and Sunday was downright COLD. We did manage to boat a few fish, but the weather was HORRID. We had good weather Friday.....Snow and Sleet on Saturday, and COLD,COLD weather on Sunday.....
Numbers:
Friday.......12
Saturday.....13
Sunday.......10
35 Smallies over 3 days.......5 over 4lbs, MANY 3's, some 2's and a few dinks....
FNF........and they were NOT on the bluff walls.....a couple dinks from the "washes" on the bluff walls, but most fish were on STEEP banks....
I hope to post some pics on my website soon.

Geo

Great post partner. Did you thank redneck for his spot? That was freak'n poetic. For those who don't know.....I recognized a spot from one of Redneck Shad's posted photos. It was fairly productive since we caught 7 of the 11 on Friday from that spot. The fish were kind of small like the ones in Redneck's photos....so we took that knowledge to Saturday and started bagg'n some real size.
Red....sorry bro....too good to pass up....too freak'n funny! Oh and the Obey looked like chocolate milk past Jouet.....so it's all yours buddy!!
We'll be back on the lake spreading good cheer on February 24th. We'll be the ones yell'n FISH OOOOONNNNN!!
35 Smallies in 3 days with that many over 4, Brutal?????? Outstanding if you ask me. Leaving Wednesday for 4 days of Dale action. 3 days of pre-fishing and then tournament on Sunday. Can't wait. Already losing sleep thinking about it. Bring on the wind, rain, sleet, snow because in my experience it BRINGS on the BITE as well.

Temps were anywhere between 42-45.........
Dirty water around Jolly, Joliet, but I was not there......This was from another buddy of mine who fished up the Obey.

You guys sound like you know what you are talking about. I fish Dale a LOT in the summers at night. I know all about the lake as far as grass beds and channel breaks, etc... I've take a trip to Dale during the Ky high school state basketball tournament now for about 7 straight years. It's alwasy the first trip of the year. We've had some success, but it's never as good as you think. Any adivce for that time of year? Float-n-fly? Bluffs? Live bait? I know it's a while until then, but i'm just wondering.
