I was informed today March 07 by the president of the Herrington Conservation League that Garrard Co. Attorney was sending a letter to the owner today or tomorrow to get it cleaned up in the next 30 days. Thank You HCL for taking such an interest in cleaning up Herrington Lake. I am told that if it is not cleaned up in the 30 days the County will step in to get it cleaned up. Fingers crossed.

From what I've heard, the owner of Red Gate died. I'm not sure who it got willed to. Anyone been to Herrington lately? I'm curious if the LM, White Bass, or Hybrids are biting?

I went and looked at this mess Saturday afternoon. The end of the slew around the corner is just as bad. I dont see how they will ever be able to clean up this mess. The road to get down to the ramp is not good enough to support any very big equipment.
