Barkley Lake Lodging close to Barkley Lodge ramp

Anyone know of any cabins or lodges around the Barkley Lodge ramp other than Barkley Lodge itself? Have an ABA tournament down there on Saturday, going down thursday to start practicing. Thanks for the info.

Those are called Parkview Cottages, I believe. I have stayed there before, and they were pretty decent. Nothing fancy. Best thing... no phones back then!!!

Using explorekentuckylake.com, here is the info. for Parkview:

    Parkview Cottages
    3535 Blue Springs Road, Cadiz, KY, 42211 (270) 924-5351

Here's a link to their website as well:

    http://www.parkviewcottages.net/

    Good luck.

    Prices

I checked out the website, and found these prices on the cottages:

    Cottages:

1 bed room (2 people maximum)

    4/1 - 10/31 - $80

    11/1 - 3/31 - $70

2 bed room (4 People Maximum)

    4/1 - 10/31- $90

    11/1 - 3/31 - $80

$5 per night for each person over 4 people.

    Maximum 6 people per cottage.

It also said each cottage had cable TV, a must for the weather channel, but no mention of phones. LOL

Thanks for the replies. Just reserved a room at the lodge, anyone been there? The significant other is coming along and wanted to have a pool so she could do something while I was fishing so had to go with that one. Thanks for the info.,

Parkview used to have a pool, not sure if it is still open.

And yes, I have stayed at the lodge. I like it, and the resturant serves up some great grub... which isn't a bad thing after a long day on the lake.

    Good luck,

    Danny

    Hey Eric,

Let us know how it goes and how the lodge is... I too have a significant other who would really only want to go if the rooms were pretty nice and there's a pool and shopping in the area (looks like there's antiques places - she'd enjoy that). We've thought of going before, but really had no idea about the area!

    Good luck at the tournament!

    Thanks,
    Jason

    Hey Eric....

I've never stayed there with my boat. The best I remember, there really is no where to leave the boat near the rooms. I don't know if they let you keep it in a slip or what. I would still be worried about someone getting on my boat though, as I have way too much to take off every night.

Would you let me know how they handle your boat storage?

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

    RE: Hey Eric....

Danny, I just called down there and they said there is space in parking lot to trailer a boat, and they have a plug-in in the parking lot to charge your batteries so we will see how it goes. I'll let you know about the stay, thanks for help.
