Does Lake Cumberland ever stock any stripers bigger than fingerlings. I just read an artical that 1 out of every 100 fingerlings make it and the rest become bait.
What about the idea of Kentucky DNR shocking the river water and moving some of those stripers to the lake? It would keep the trout fishermen happy!
As far as I know, only fingerlings are stocked. Not sure how they do the stocking. I know VA determined that many fingerlings became bait, so they started stocking in various places in the lake to increase the survival rate.
