I planning on fishing next week and wanted to know the best places to go right now in Central KY for bass or crappie fishing. I live in the Richmond area. Thanks for the help in advance.

I'm headed to Dale Hollow.......
I did REALLY good there this past weekend.....Caught 7 fish on Saturday.......2 over 5, a few over 3, and a couple dinks.
We caught fish on FNF, but I plan on trying that and some suspending jerkbaits this next weekend.

I heard they are starting to hit a few on Nolin. It's kinda a crap shoot right now as to where to go, anywhere could be good or real bad. I'm going to the big C tomorrow, I'll probably throw everything but the F-N-F. I'm hoping to find some water over fifty degrees tomorrow or thursday.
i went to nolin sat morning fished for some crappie very cold but got some good keepers they were deep like 25 ft down and some nice largemouth up around the bank i got the crappie and bass on minnows
hope this helps
Thanks to those of you that replied. If you go to Cumberland give a report when you get back. If go to C-land I will probably go up Fishing Creek. Let me know how it goes. I might try C-land a day, Cedar Creek a day, then go to Wilgreen which is out my backdoor.
Thanks for the posts.
What's wrong with Wilgreen Lake? It's right there in Richmond, more or less.
Nothing...It is a great lake. I fish it frequently...but I have the opportunity to get away to some distance places and wanted to give them a try. I fish Wilgreen heavy in the late Spring and summer early mornings....get time to catch em.
