How is the crappie fishing at taylorsville? I am thinking about taking a old friend out for a few hours Sat. And was wondering how the bite was. Thanks for any info, God bless

Also interested in reports of white bass in the salt river

Fished the Salt above the bridge Monday. Water was up a little and had a nice green color. Unfortunately, it was dead as a doornail. I didn't even get a bite on white bass or crappie. I threw out white roosters, popeyes and storm swim baits and gave it up after about an hour. I guess the cold front shut the white bass run down, but I expect it to happen as the temps start climbing this week. Give it another week or two.
