Guntersville Trip

Anyone been down to Guntersville lately? Going down tomorrow for a few days and was wondering if anyone had any current lake conditions and/or a fishing report.

I HAVE NOT HEARD ANY RECENT FISHING REPORTS BUT THE WATER SHOULD BE SOMEWHERE AROUND THE 62-63 DEGREE MARK DOWN THERE RIGHT NOW. YOU BETTER PUT ON YOUR HEAVY LINE AND DONT FORGET TO BRING YOUR RATTLE TRAPS. HAD A 5 FISH BAG THAT WENT OVER 30 POUNDS ABOUT THIS SAME TIME OF THE YEAR IN 2004. SHALLOW , VERY SHALLOW. WE ARE HEADED DOWN MID MONTH TO SNIFF AROUND. GOOD LUCK J.SWIFT

Thanks for the reply. I hope we are hitting it at the right time for the shallow bite. I will post the end of next week on how we did and the current conditions.

I was at Guntersville last weekend. Water temp was low to mid fifties, but it was only 45 degrees on Saturday the 25th. Fished Goosepond and Rosebury Creek area. Did not do well but I am new to the lake. There were fish being caught. Check the alambama board on this website for better info. Good luck!
