Lake Linville water temps dropped from low 70's to 62 degrees. Didn't hurt the bite, still took 11.50 to win Tuesday night and many limits weighed in.

Guides around the area are reporting temperature drops of 4 and 5 degrees for surface waters. Cumberland, Barren and Dale so far but I suspect all lakes in the state are experiencing the same problem. Let us know what you are finding on the lake you fish and use the lake in the subject line.

Nolin was at 72.5 on main lake yesterday afternoon with with Rock Creek and Dog Creeks at 69.5. I found 72 degree water on Nolin three weeks ago, two weeks ago the same water was 67.
Green was anywhere from 62 to 65 wed. afternoon.Still caught a few fish, with my 5 year old son catching a 21-inch,4.6 smallmouth!!(yeaah)
I think it's great, as long as the temps stay down on the lakes the spring bite will last longer. I dread those long dog days of summer, and swatting at skeeters in the middle of the night trying to catch one.
Temperature a Laurel was 65 degrees Down about 4 to 6 degrees from last week. A lot of people still catching fish but I think that the weather has them really messed up right now. Looking forward to some stable weather.
