Best solution for removing scratches in gellcoat

I was just wondering if anyone knew the best way to get rid of small scratches in a boats gellcoat without doing anymore damage to the boats look. The scratches that Im trying to remove are coming from rubbing up against standing timber. Any info would be helpful, Thanks J.Swift

Try a product called 3-M perfect-it III with a high speed buffer. It worked on My stratos. The buffer is the important part, the little hand held ones won't work.

Yeah be careful with the buffer! Try some brass-o by hand works really well for scratches and mars that arent real deep and its gel-coat freindly
