I'm no expert on Cumberland. In fact I've never fished it before. However, seeing as how it's such a big smallmouth lake, I'd say it's loaded with crawfish.

There's plenty of crawfish in Cumberland. Turn over a few rocks.
I never see them swimming but have watched a few fish being cleaned and they were full of crayfish, some very large. So you bet, and when the smallmouth are on crawfish a jig will outfish live bait.
