cedar creek lake

Can anyone help with cedar creek ? I have never been there will be fishing for bass . Any help with where to fish or what to fish with. Thanks for any help.

There is a fishing report on site for Cedar Creek lake. It will be updated on Sundays. There is a tackle store listed that you can call which has good supplies for the lake and he sells a new worm he makes that is doing well catching fish. No name for it yet but it is a fairly neat worm.

I grew up in that area and fished Cedar dreek several times before I moved to Western Ky. It's a great lake to fish with a whole bunch of cover. It's like they flooded a holler full of woods. There are lanes cut out to run through the trees and stick ups. You don't have to worry much about running over anything because it's deep enough to keeep that from happening.

Take your jigs with you and baby brushhogs as well as your spinnerbaits. Fish cover that is in 8-10 ft of water and throw spinner baits along the outside of trees and stick ups. You shouldn't have any problem catching some quality fish. The fish in the lake are real healthy and will fight with any lake fish anywhere else. The only thing is I think the size limit is 21 inches. They want to make it a trophy lake.

I could give you a couple of places to fish dependin g on which ramp you're putting in. Let me know and I'll see if I can't explain the spots to you. I have a buddy back home that fishes it all the time and has put 4-5 5 lbers in the boat. The last time my father and I fished it we had some good 3 lb fish that made for a whole lot of fun.
