How do you guys think that this cold front will affect the fishing this weekend? Will it push the fish deep or back up into the creeks?
Keep on chuckin'
It's been my experience that in early fall, the fish will actually go more shallow rather than deeper as in late fall. However with a front like this one the good bite will likely occur later in the day as it warms up. I look for shad and throw lipless cranks or grubs. But then the fish don't always seem to read the same fishing magazines I do. Front or no, tomorrow I'm tryin' topwater, cranks, tubes, and carolina creature. Hope it is a fall feast day rather than famine.............all that said, I would prefer a good cloudy day without the cold front.
