    NICE!!!

    Matt,

That sounds great. Although I am way to far away to fish that trail, and don't have the foggiest idea of how to fish that river for bass, you have a very nice tournament trail put together.

I know you have a great relationship with Joe Thomas, just an idea, but any chance you could get the classic winner to qualify for the Ultimate Match Fishing? Just think, an amaturer fishing your trail, on TV, against the pros!!!!

    Anyway, good luck.

    RE: NICE!!!

That was an idea Joe had for a fishing tournament that he was going to put with us. But I'm not sure that it's going to happen now, I don't think the Outdoor Channel liked the idea, I thought it was golden.

As far as this being affliated though, that would be cool but then someone would want some of our entry fees for that honor.

RE: Biggest Payback Trail to hit Ohio River

I bought a boat from Plapps's about three months ago. And I'm here to say that Plapps is a first class organization that strives to keep their fisherman on the water no matter what it takes. This river circuit is a great bonus for the region and is going to attract allot of fisherman. Thanks Matt.
    - Also if there are any serious fisherman in the Louisville or surrounding area that is interested in fishing the Plapps owners tournament on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of November send me a email. I might also need a partner for this circuit next year.

    Hey Brian,

    Brian,

    Congrats on the new boat!!

Where is the owner's tournament going to be held?

I have a lot going on right now, trying to get a new job, been really helping with care for my mom in law who has cancer, but I'm dying to go fishing. One thing I've learned, when I have a tournament scheduled, I seem to make it, if I don't it seems I let the family stuff get in the way. Not to say if momma took a much worse turn, that I would still fish.

In any case, I know I have to join a club next year. I fish for sure when I have tournaments coming up. I prefish and then fish the tournament, but otherwise, welll see above.

    Thanks,

    Danny

    RE: Hey Brian,

Our owners tournament is held at Big Bone Marina on the Ohio River. One of the people in the boat need to be a registered owner from Plapp's, like Brian. We have a Pig Roast on Saturday Nov 5th and then the tournament Sunday Nov 6th. Like always with our tournamnets, its 100% payback with a bunch of awesome door prizes.

    RE: NICE!!!

Matt, It is hard but do not take it personally. What you are doing for our sport wonderful. Plapp's is doing more for this sport on a regional level then anyone before. What you have started here sounds so great I'm looking for a river rat to team up with.
Remember no matter how much you give there are those who would ask for more. Just look at New Orleans.
On behalf of the American Bass Anglers, I want to thank you for your sponsorship and look forward to working with you this coming year.
    Sincerly,
    George Salov
