    BRRRRRR.....

Snow Blowing, Wind Howling, Cold, Front moving Thru............ and I'm hooking up the Boat to head to Dale Hollow for about 5 days of rest, relaxation and FIGHTIN WITH THE BIGUNS. Holly Creek Marina here I come. One 12 Pound Smallie away from quitting my day job or at least take a few more weeks off to decifer all the endorsement deals (Tracker, Mercury, Quantum, P Line, plus start my own hand tied jig company) that will be coming my way after landing the WORLD RECORD SMALLMOUTH (Let a guy dream for a while) May even try to charge admission to show the exact spot where the big girl was landed.

    RE: BRRRRRR.....

I am staying at a cabin owned by one of the guides on the lake. He had 8 in the boat over the weekend over 5 with the biggest at 5-12. He gave me a little inside information that I hope will be useful. Cold Front coming thru may slow the bite a little Thur and Fri but should pick back up Sun, Mon and Tue. Good Luck

    RE: WHAT THEY BITIN

I'm not familiar with Dale...do you guys launch in Kentucky and stay in Kentucky or do you guys fish in Tennessee too?

    RE: WHAT THEY BITIN

I launch at the state ramp in Kentucky just across from Trooper Island...there is only one little lane open to use and it is a bit rough but you will have no problem floating the boat (unless there is ice or snow on the ramp). I do fish some in Tennessee but there is enough water and enough big smallies that you can easily stay on the Kentucky side.

    RE: WHAT THEY BITIN

Can I fish all of Sulphur Creek, Hendricks and Illwell with just a KY Liscense or do I need a Tenn. when I cross the line in those creeks?
