    Taylorsville

Fished here yesterday and was my first time on the lake. Not too bad of a day for only fishing for around 5 hours. Fish very active on top for most of the morning. Buzzbait was the big fish catcher.

Best 5 was a little over 13lbs for my partner and I. Big Fish a little over 4 lbs took on a buzz bait.

Water temps had dropped into the upper 70's. Looks like the cooler temps are going to fire fishing back up again!

    Taylorsville Fishing Report

Fished today Monday Sept 4, 06...Fished hard from 6:45 am to 12:00 pm...Only caught 9 small fish and lost 3....All fish came on Jig & Pig combo and 1 on an inline spinnerbait....Water was creepy looking, seemed to have some sort of scum laying on top of water...Water was stained and didn't find any water over 77 degree's... From the looks of the start...There must have been close to 30 boats in the Monday Morning Big Bass Tournament when they took off from Possum Ridge.....

    RE: Taylorsville Fishing Report

I beleive there were 60 boats, the water was actually looking pretty good to me. Where I was it was so clear I could see the bottom of my prop and skeg. I thought Monday was a nice morning to be on Taylorsville.

James, Get-r-done, that is what I call, a call home to Momma day on that dead hole. Excellent weight for the dead sea, you need to get in the tourneys up there with that kinda weight. And on a buzzbait no doubt those bass only see a buzzbait a hundred times per day, Wow.

    RE: Taylorsville

Thanks! Cant take all the credit, my partner took us to the holes we were fishing, but the buzz bait bite was really on. It was so much fun just watching the fish explode on the bait. guess we just really found them stacked up.

Just one of those days. Thats the way it goes.
