Woodscreek Smallmouth?

I have fished woodscreek this year extensively. I have caught 0 smallies. Has anyone ever caught any brown fish there?

There are a few in there. Get closer to the dam to get 'em. They seem to like brown jigs and usually they are pretty good size 3 to 4 pounds.

My buddy lives on Woodcreek and he says they're few and far between, but there's some good ones in there. I was fishing there one time and had one come all the way out of the water after my Sammy.
