Slim Jim to become official meat-snack of leading tournament-fishing organization

MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 5, 2006) - FLW Outdoors and ConAgra Foods, Inc., announced today that four highly respected consumer brands have joined the extensive family of FLW Outdoors sponsors. Leading the way is Slim Jim, the No. 1 brand of meat sticks in the United States. In 2007, Slim Jim will participate on a premier level while ACT II, Pemmican, DAVID Seeds and Crunch'n Munch will be associate sponsors.
Slim Jim's sponsorship will begin in 2007 and will include participation throughout all of the freshwater FLW Outdoors tournament trails: Wal-Mart FLW Tour, Wal-Mart FLW Series, Stren Series, Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League, Wal-Mart Texas Tournament Trail presented by Abu Garcia, Wal-Mart FLW Walleye Tour and Wal-Mart FLW Walleye League.
As a premier sponsor, Slim Jim will be featured in a variety of media formats, including the Emmy-nominated "FLW Outdoors" television program on FSN, which reaches approximately 81 million households in the United States plus an additional 350 million households internationally. Slim Jim will also be participating with prominent advertisements in FLW Outdoors Magazine and on FLWOutdoors.com as well as signage at tournaments and a booth in the Family Fun Zone. In addition, Slim Jim will field a professional angling team that will compete on the FLW Tour in a Slim Jim-wrapped Ranger Z-Comanche boat. ACT II has served as the official popcorn of FLW Outdoors since 2001 and will continue to do so through the 2007 tournament season.
