As long as I keep my husband points to the positive, I should be pretty good to go. LoL Plus I would like to be prepared so when I get to slide out, no matter the conditions I will at least be cozy for the time that my points will buy me :7 :o :(

i bought some frog toggs from BPS. extremely lightweight and NO wind gets through. i even wear them in winter with some under armour cold gear and they do the job just fine then too.

I bought the Gore-Tex set from BPS, and they are great with only one exception, the arm you cast with will always somehow get damp down to the elbow...due to letting the rain seep into the cuff...I don't believe there is an outfit on the market that will keep this from happening and I've owned several brands...trying to keep this from happening... Maybe I just haven't found the right one yet.....:D :P

    RE: Rain Suit?

Everytime I've seen enquiry about rain suits it seems like most of the time everyone favors Frog Togs...As for me, I have something that made by Columbia...it seems to suit me just fine, seems breathable, I don't sweat in them, plus they do a good job of doing what they were designed to do...which is to keep me dry. My opinion on lots of things is (rain suits included) you get what you pay for.

    RE: Rain Suit?

I wore out my Frogg Toggs rain suit in the knees and seat of my pants so i won't buy them again. They will also rip if you catch them on something while the other suits will be tougher to rip and they are more durable. To each his own i guess. No doubt i would like a BPS Gore Tex suit but when you look at the cost for the jacket and the pants/bibs you could go into shock. Less than $100 you could get a FLW suit that will last for many years. Good luck.

IMO, you can't go wrong with Cabela's rain gear. I've got their Guide Series bibs and coat. Fantastic in rain and cold weather. I think they're around $160 for the set.

I saved up a bunch of Bass Pro Certificates from Christmas/Birthday etc. and bought their 200mph suit. Its far better than any other rainsuit I have owned.
