Nolin Lake Tournaments

I will post this on the Tournament Board with all remaining tournament dates hopefully next weekend but wanted to make everyone aware of a new tournament being held on Nolin Lake this Fall.

Tournament Date - Oct 21, 3006
Tournament Location - Moutardier Boat Ramp
Tournament Times - 7:00am - 2:00pm Lake Time
Entry Fee - $50.00
100% Payback

A local Resident has started these tournaments and has had two tournaments this fall and has one left in October and two in November.

The best part about his tournaments is 100% payback.

His current plans are to have some spring Tournaments starting in Late February or early March and also have some summer night tournaments.

I now have the dates for the 2 tournaments in November.
November 4th and November 18th.

This is a 5 fish tournament with one slot per boat.

Don't forget about the tournament being held this weekend.

What'd it take to win?

Planned to fish, but my partner could not make it. Wish we had been there.

There were 10 boats in the Days tourny. It took 14.50 pds for 1st, around 5 for 2nd if I remember correctly.

Thanks Ranger. If I remember right, the Days tournament was out of Wax, I was wondering about the one out of Moutidier? How many boats, and what won it?

My partner and I both planned to fish the one from Moutidier, but something came up and he could not fish, and I didn't want to fish alone.

Anyone know about the Moutidier tournament results?

I actually fished the Tournament out of Nolin and should have gone Deer Hunting instead! Caught about 10 fish with largest about 14.5". Say a buddy that was planning on fishing the Moutidier Tournament and only 2 boats showed up and they decided not to have a tournament!

It is ashame that this tournament can not get many boats to fish. The guy running the tournament is trying to get something started for the Fall but I think the Days tournament hurt his numbers. I talked to a few at the Wax tournament and they said they had planned on fishing this tournament until they found out about the one at Wax.

Does anybody know if the tournament out of Wax will continue or was this a one time tournament. Maybe more will begin showing up for the 2 remaining dates at the Moutidier tournament.
