Fished laurel last night 7 till 11 pm. Had 2 keepers, 19 1/4 brownfish and one heck of a spot. Both fish were heavy and looked like they were putting their feedbags on. Lost one other fish that I never could get turned straight under the boat and I couldn't slow it down at all. If you can go by feel it was one heck of a fish. Took several other bites just couldn't put a hook in them. I know two keepers ain't much to get excited about but seems like laurel has been tough for me this summer. Can't wait to do some F-n-F over there this year. Water temp was 58 degrees and clear. Did notice a lot of debri out there which is unusual for laurel considering where we were fishing so if you're out there be careful. No worse way to end the summer than by ripping your motor off on a big ol log.
